    Job Description

    This is a clerical position in an outpatient mental health setting. As part of the Outpatient Mental Health team, you will provide administrative support to patients and staff.

    1. Perform reception duties and handle telephone communication with patients and visitors.
    2. Register new patients, book follow-up appointments, manage physician schedules, process patient orders through the computer system.
    3. Arrange meetings, prepare materials for Health Records, type/filing of patient reports/letters.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently as well as collaboratively within our interdisciplinary team. You should be able to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining accurate records.
    As a Unit Secretary in our Outpatient Mental Health department,
    prioritization skills are crucial when managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
