- Working independently and within a team environment to support the client service staff to produce high quality client deliverables
- Assisting in the arrangement and execution of client and team meetings, developing notes and action item/deliverables lists
- Performing tasks from a "pooled" work environment
- Maintaining a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
- Preparation of letters and reports using firm templates in compliance with Firm standards
- Proofread, review for quality, and verify content before finalizing any client deliverables
- Preparing hard files for clients based on requests from the external client service team and new client setup processes
- Scanning documents and embedding in electronic file
- Sending & receiving edocuments to and from clients through various secure file transfer platforms
- Participate in training to stay current with changes in software and processes
- Provide billing support using various Grant Thornton systems and in accordance with the terms of the engagement letter
- Assist in the preparation and submission of time and expense reports
- Preparing, editing, and branding of proposals & correspondence
- Entering and maintaining client data using Microsoft Dynamics 365 software
- Plan and coordinate costeffective and sometimes complex domestic and international travel arrangements and itineraries for individuals and groups
- General administrative duties including, but not limited to answering & transferring overflow of incoming calls, filing, photocopying, scanning, efaxing, mailing, and couriers

Here's a few more boxes we're also hoping you can tick:
- Post secondary education in administration is considered an asset
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of administrative experience
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office Suite programs
- Experience working with PDF software such as Adobe/Kofax
- Excellent data entry skills and high attention to detail with an aptitude for proofreading and suggesting alternatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines and frequent interruptions
- Exceptional client service mindset with ability to deescalate potentially difficult situations
- Recognize and adapt to individual differences and team dynamics to produce effective working relationships
- Computer savvy ability to learn and troubleshoot various computer programs
- Receptive and open to change combined with a motivation to learn
This role is required to be in-office 5 days per week
