Job Overview:


Under general supervision, the Production Support analyst role contributes to Wawanesa's success by providing support to stakeholders with analysis expertise to coordinate their reports to resolution.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure department processes contribute to organizational goals and represents the best interests of stakeholders
  • Respond to reports by using firstlevel problem determination techniques to triage, analyze, solve, and escalate where necessary
  • Representing the front end and demonstrating commitment to providing an exceptional level of customer service and communication to achieve the timely resolution of reports
  • Participate in design and business requirements; verify new system technology and enhancements to existing systems, products, services and processes inclusive of planning, designing, executing and evaluating test material
  • Contribute to and monitor adherence of processes, procedures and standards; assist in the ongoing improvement of quality and efficiency, including preparing and recommending solutions as part of continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the growth and maintenance of the department knowledge base
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 1 year experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry
  • Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Willingness to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Willing to pursue GIE/CIP designation is considered an asset
