Job Overview:
Under general supervision, the Production Support analyst role contributes to Wawanesa's success by providing support to stakeholders with analysis expertise to coordinate their reports to resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure department processes contribute to organizational goals and represents the best interests of stakeholders
- Respond to reports by using firstlevel problem determination techniques to triage, analyze, solve, and escalate where necessary
- Representing the front end and demonstrating commitment to providing an exceptional level of customer service and communication to achieve the timely resolution of reports
- Participate in design and business requirements; verify new system technology and enhancements to existing systems, products, services and processes inclusive of planning, designing, executing and evaluating test material
- Contribute to and monitor adherence of processes, procedures and standards; assist in the ongoing improvement of quality and efficiency, including preparing and recommending solutions as part of continuous improvement
- Contribute to the growth and maintenance of the department knowledge base
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry
- Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problemsolving skills
- Willingness to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Willing to pursue GIE/CIP designation is considered an asset
