The HR Project Manager will provide Project Management expertise to support the ongoing delivery of WD go-live commitments, including prioritized backlog items, while planning and prioritizing for Phase Two deliverables.

What you'll do

  • Support the prioritization and execution/delivery of Workday backlog items.
  • Maintain project management standards for the ongoing delivery of Workday commitments.
  • Support deployment of structured project governance process to ensure visibility and alignment for all Workdayrelated project items and issues.
  • Lead planning and resource estimation efforts for Workday Phase Two deliverables.
  • Coordinate and manage centralized tracking of all open Workday Project related issues.
  • Provide project management and leadership support to Workday employee segment working committees (i.e. Retail and DC groups).
  • Liaise across multiple stakeholder groups including HCM Architecture and Core, Finance, HR, and Technology teams to ensure prioritized and aligned work efforts, focused and timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Maintain open communications with HR Stakeholders to identify emerging issues.
  • Partner with Manager, Communications and Change Management to ensure effective information flow and OCM alignment.
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Monitor project progress and success and maintain up to date risk assessments and mitigation plans where applicable.
  • Provide regular project updates to the HR Leadership team.
  • Maintain and coordinate centralized tracking of project issues while assessing resolution priority.
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution and escalate issues when required.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the Workday knowledge library to maintain relevance.

What you bring

  • Experience managing complex multistakeholder projects.
  • Experience with Workday or other similar HRIS/HCM deployments.
  • Experience with JIRA (or similar) issue tracking platforms.
  • Project Management Professional or related discipline is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional communicator, with an ability to make connections with people quickly.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • Capable of working seamlessly across multiple employee populations.
  • Strong ability to collaborate well with others to find solutions.
