GDI is currently seeking for a houseman for the Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites Ottawa.

Responsibilities:

Cleans rooms, hallways and restrooms.
Washes walls and ceiling, moves furniture's and turn mattress.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floor.
Collects soiled linen for laundering.
Removes trash collected by room attendants.
Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
Deliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to the guest rooms on requests.
Perform duties of room attendant when necessary.
Help the room boys / house maids with the heavy lifting when cleaning of rooms.
Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.
Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.

Requirements:

Available mornings/evenings/nights/weekends
Capable to work in dusty, damp, and dirty areas
Capable of working alone or in a team
Capable of moving and walking continuously during work hours
Capable of completing repetitive tasks
Capable of lifting kg)
Ability to work under pressure and manage time well.
