Scope


Under direct supervision, the Network Analyst 1 will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the management of networks including testing, installing, maintaining, and supporting; perform technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of the work; provide consulting advice on technical solutions and changes to business methods and processes to various clients; develop solutions using various technologies.


Responsibilities:

Maintaining LAN/WAN/wireless/VoIP/Cloud operations by working with network facility and vendors to ensure timely problem resolution.
Other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


Degree in a related field from a recognized institution plus one-year related experience or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.


Assets include:

Experience with Cisco & Palo Alto equipment is preferred.
Experience with SIP and QOS in relation to VOIP implementations preferred.
Experience with collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Teams would be an asset.

Experience with Networking and connectivity to cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, etc), site-to-site (S2S) and client access VPNs would be an asset.

Hourly Rate:
$43.77 Pay Grade Step 1 Step 2 (6 Months) Step 3 (18 Months) Step 4 (30 Months) 25 $ $47.52 $49.52
