Job Number:48665**- Up to 5 temporary full-time positions for up to 4 months, intended specifically for students currently completing grade 12 or enrolled in a post-secondary institution, commencing in May 2024_

Then join the Taxation Customer Service team this summer.
As a part of the team, you will:
- Educate citizens on fees and penalties as applied through legislation relating to property tax including MGA and applicable City Bylaws
- Assist property owners with printing tax statements required for in person payment appointments
- Assist property owners with account maintenance requests such as change of mailing address, third party access requests, access code requests (MyProperty) and school support declaration forms
- Assist property owners with monthly payment plan account updates including change of banking information and cancellation requests
- Other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- Currently completing grade 12 or enrollment in a postsecondary institution
- Enrolment in a business administration, accounting, finance, bookkeeping or related postsecondary certificate, diploma or degree program is preferred

Conditions of Employment:
- Hire is dependent on a Criminal Records Check (CRC) security clearance that is satisfactory to the City of Edmonton and is a requirement of this position. There may be a cost associated with this requirement

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
