Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Suites
London, with 180 modern guestrooms and suites, 15,000+ square feet of versatile meeting space, onsite Starbucks Coffee and Bentley's Lounge, is looking for an energetic Guest Service Agent to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Greets all guests that come into contact with Guest Relations ensuring that the guest name is used at all times.
- Checks guests in and out of the Property accurately and in a timely manner.
- Handles guest enquiries and provides information on local attractions and gives directions as required.
- Takes reservations as required in the absence of the Reservations Supervisor.
- Answers all telephone calls in a professional friendly manner.
- Equips the front desk at the commencement of each shift with the adequate stationary and forms.
- Records guest comments for the information of the Front Office Manager.
- Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
- Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
Requirements:
- Must be located in the London, Ontario region.
- Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position is an asset
- Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problemsolving skills
- Customer service orientation
- Reliable transportation
Must be able to work 35-40 hours per week:
Available for all shifts; 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am:- Available any day of the week including weekends and holidays
