The
Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Suites
London, with 180 modern guestrooms and suites, 15,000+ square feet of versatile meeting space, onsite Starbucks Coffee and Bentley's Lounge, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide support and guidance to the management team and employee group
  • Assist in recruitment and on boarding process
  • Maintain accurate, uptodate employee records
  • Administration of the company benefit program
  • Process biweekly payroll for all hotel employees
  • Maintain detailed job descriptions and create new job descriptions when needed
  • Understand and update policies and procedures as needed based on company changes or legislative changes
  • Respond to manager and employee queries regarding policies and procedures
  • Perform the orientation/on boarding of new hires
  • Conduct exit process for departing employee
  • Other duties and projects as required

Other Responsibilities:


  • Health & Safety Hotel Representative
  • Coordinate Staff Social events
  • Daily Cash Balancing
  • Coding invoices

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a Human Resources Coordinator is considered an asset
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of employment and labour laws, HR procedures and practices, legislative provisions regarding recruitment, employment equity, compensation, and health and safety required
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, selfmanage projects, prioritize workload, and maintain concentration and attention to detail in a fastpaced environment with multiple interruptions
  • Ability to coach employees at all levels through difficult situations, ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve issues using judgement consistent with the hotels preferences and priorities
  • Computer skills in the area of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

$44,000.00-$49,000.00 per year
