Tri-Phase Group is an environmental and construction company that has been providing a specialized set of services across Canada for over 25 years.


Our services include but are not limited to:
demolition, hazardous materials abatement, rebuild/renovation, drilling and more.

We are looking for a motivated and determined individual to join our team as a Health and Safety Coordinator.

The roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development of a safety culture that is positive, proactive, and supports a safe and healthy work environment
  • Assist in and provide leadership where needed with inspections, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
  • Help maintain the COR Recognition
  • Track all HSE training for all employees
  • Support and help maintain all Joint Health and Safety Committee Meetings
  • Maintain, update and implement the Health and Safety Program within the company
  • Ensure compliance with HSE legislation at all job sites in collaboration with employees, clients and their representatives
  • Influence and assist company wide in the implementation of HSE training initiatives
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior management on health and safety statistics and performance
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed by staff
  • Improve the level of excellence in the company's HSE programs and performance
  • Oversee and ensure the company is in compliance with MTO's CVOR Program
  • Identify and anticipate health and safety concerns and hazards by surveying environmental, operations and occupational conditions
  • Conduct frequent site visits to ensure compliance with the company's policies and legislation
  • Complete sitespecific health and safety work plans

Qualifications:

  • University degree coupled with good field exposure
  • Ability to travel to project sites
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian Health and Safety and Construction legislation and programs
  • Communications and training skills
