Position Purpose:
Responsible for managing the daily transactions between IPG's Customers and the Supply Chain
Individual will be responsible for following all of IPG policies and procedures in the area of Customer Service.
Provide support to Sales, Logistics, and Operations by effectively processing customer orders and requests from beginning to end to meet customer needs.
Principle Accountabilities
- Process account orders including all the steps from the initial order entry to final invoicing.
- Interact with production and shipping staff to coordinate production schedule.
- Verify availability by product number or description.
- Communicate any accounting related matters in a timely manner with the accounting department.
- Provide customer assistance such as expected delivery time, purchase order followup and general billing questions.
- Resolve product or service problems by working closely with the sales force to determine the cause and the best solution to the problem and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Perform other duties as required.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum 25 years' experience in Customer Service.
- Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
- English and French
- Excellent customer service and listening skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS-Office suite products
- Familiarity with AS400
