The Team


We are seeking someone that has a passion for change and building market leading experiences through innovative technology solutions within the Wealth Management landscape.


Our Wealth Digital Transformation team represents Canadian Wealth Management businesses with a mandate to lead the strategy of innovation and transformative digital client and brokerage solutions bringing them to Clients and Advisors.


The Product Owner is accountable for understanding the business strategy, end user roles/experiences and business process, to support the Senior Product Owner.

You will be required to provide input to the prioritization, interview and work with our field users across SWM and support the delivery of digital enhancements via an agile framework.

Leveraging their ability to organize and motivate teams within an incremental delivery environment, they will

work with product lines, various stakeholders and software developers to translate customer journey directives

into actionable backlog deliverables, and follow through to completion.


The focus of this role will be to create the best enhanced digital experience for our Clients' and Advisor teams with a focus on client relationship management and advisor desktop interactions.

Ensuring we stay focused on the strategy, industry trends and optimizing the process for the best in class experience.


You must have th ability to think outside the box and look for opportunities to enhance or change the way processes work today, ensuring we are still complaint and taking the right risk based approach where applicable.


Is this role right for you?

  • Play a leadership role in the Agile team to ensure that capabilities are inscope, ontime and of high quality
  • Translate WDT directives and Client and Advisor needs into backlog items. Serve as the primary source of external information for the scrum team, offering clear definitions of the targeted capability, the intended value to the customer, and functional/nonfunctional requirements.
  • Create product roadmaps for the development team(s). Author, refine and approve backlog items, with clearly articulated acceptance criteria
  • Manage and prioritize backlog contents, ensuring sufficient depth of groomed items for consumption and commitment
  • Manage and engage with End Users frequently to ensure we understand their challenges and desires
  • Manage engagement with stakeholders and effectively communicate product release contents and expected product capabilities/customer journey
  • Work closely with the Change Management team to support the training, communications and business implementation
  • Facilitate problem solving on a daytoday basis as required, working closely with development team on implementation challenges
  • Actively collaborate and engage with the agile team
  • Contribute to building organizational capability and expertise on agile adoption
  • Understand the industry trends to ensure the digitization of work is staying current in the market
  • Articulate and champion user experiences and journeys to ensure we have the future state well defined
