Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Compensation Analyst
position in Montreal, Quebec
for summer 2023 (May - August).

Job Summary


The Intern, Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the Compensation team in preparation for the upcoming Federal Pay Equity Act.

Major Responsibilities

Pay Equity Preparation

  • Map all jobs within CN with their descriptions and assessments, coordinate steps to evaluate all unassessed jobs
  • Collaborate with staffing team to maintain data accuracy in information systems
  • Support Pay Equity analysis
  • Support development of job architecture
  • Analyze historical data reports
Compensation

  • Prepare compensation surveys
  • Collaborate in compensation cycle management
  • Coordinate steps for employees appointments, including letters preparation
  • Assist with tools and process improvements
  • Assist with reporting and analysis of compensation related metrics

Requirements:


  • Knowledge of

Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
Education

  • Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or actuarial mathematics
