Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Compensation Analyst
position in Montreal, Quebec
for summer 2023 (May - August).

Job Summary

The Intern, Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the Compensation team in preparation for the upcoming Federal Pay Equity Act.

Major Responsibilities

Pay Equity Preparation

Map all jobs within CN with their descriptions and assessments, coordinate steps to evaluate all unassessed jobs
Collaborate with staffing team to maintain data accuracy in information systems
Support Pay Equity analysis
Support development of job architecture
Analyze historical data reports

Compensation

Prepare compensation surveys
Collaborate in compensation cycle management
Coordinate steps for employees appointments, including letters preparation
Assist with tools and process improvements
Assist with reporting and analysis of compensation related metrics

Requirements:

Knowledge of

Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)

Education

Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or actuarial mathematics
