This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

- What You'll Do:
- Responsible for monitoring all aspects of Valley Fiber construction projects for
- Oversee all construction projects from concept to commissioning, including
- The Program Manager/Superintendent will have a dedicated team of project managers and

- Liaise between contractors and Valley Fiber internal support departments for
- Negotiate contracts with third party vendors while ensuring contractor
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and internal construction
- Coordinate schedules and construction processes among disciplines
- Set performance goals and deadlines
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
- In field contractor coordination, site reviews, taking in contractor requests,
- Material reviews and project costing reviews
- Responsible for overall reporting timelines, deadlines, and tracking project

- Demonstrable experience as superintendent in infrastructure construction projects (preferably in
- In depth understanding of infrastructure construction operations and processes
- Experience in management of both third party and internal resources
- Experience in managing multiple projects across wide geography
- Experience in utilizing various construction management software
- Experience in Microsoft Project is an asset
- Ability to read civil infrastructure drawings
- Previous work experience in communicating with contractors
- Valid class 5 driver's license is required
- ArcGIS software experience is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office is required
- Ability to work closely with external and internal teams to drive project
basis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
