**Position Summary: The Sport Partnerships Student will support the Sport Partnerships team on a variety of initiatives across our family of companies including: partnership asset fulfillment and tracking, activation planning, execution and reporting, administrative support and budget tracking


Specific partnerships may include:
the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Committees, various pro and amateur hockey properties, etc.

You will support the team in developing programs that leverage available assets in support of our retail banners' business objectives (Canadian Tire Retail, Sport Chek, Sports Experts, Mark's, etc.).

**What you'll do: The Student is responsible for supporting the Sport Partnerships team in order to effectively plan, execute and report on our partnership portfolio


Specifically:

  • Provide campaign support as required (build workback plans, track asset usage, facilitate content development, track expenses, prepare briefs and wrap reports).
  • Support record keeping for the team, including updating databases, trackers, and calendars.
  • Update project plans, manages project request and tracks progress including budget, timelines and deliverable status.
  • Arrange meetings, prepares materials, takes notes, etc.
  • Support team members in helping centralized communication and information hub for team members and other contacts.
  • Support the internal communications strategy regarding Sport Partnerships
  • Support the daytoday administrative tasks for the Partnership team.

What you've done:


  • C urrently enrolled in a postsecondary program in Marketing, Events, Sports Management, Business, or a related discipline
  • Passionate about sport from grassroots to high performance.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English) an asset speaking, reading, writing.
