Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, All Weather Windows Ltd. (AWW) is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada.

Operations include two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres located in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

We are currently recruiting for a
_Service Team Lead _for our Edmonton Service Department.

This individual is responsible for preparing and managing service run sheets and provide up-to-date information regarding service scheduling to other customer solution center employees.

They would also be responsible for communicating AWW policies and safety information to service technicians and covering the responsibilities of other Customer Solution Center employees when needed.


In this position, you will be responsible for...

Prepare and Manage Service Run Sheets

  • Types accurate service run sheets for technicians and lockout crews
  • Verifies appointments are tracked appropriately
  • Ensures there are no duplicate appointments on the run sheets and ensures run sheets are not overbooked
  • Locates paperwork regarding service appointments as needed
  • Communicates with order desk, advising them when runs are full
  • Ensures service technician off days are recorded to prevent appointments being booked for them
  • Communicates with the Service Supervisor or Operations Manager to accommodate vehicle maintenance in the service schedule

Communication with Service Technicians

  • Ensures service technicians receive all company memos
  • Provides safety information to service technicians on a daily basis (i.e. toolbox talks)
  • Communicates AWW policies and procedures to service technicians and answers their questions when required

Training Coordination

  • Monitors safety training certifications for service technicians to ensure they are valid
  • Liaises with Health and Safety to register service technicians in all required safety training courses
  • Schedules training for in a manner which does not disrupt the service schedule
  • Arranges onthejob training for new hires

Walk-In Customer Service

  • Assists customers who arrive in the service department, answering questions as needed
  • Arranges for replacement parts or screens to be ordered for customers

Other

  • Provide mentorship to the service team through guidance and support
  • Covers duties of Field Service Supervisor when required
  • Tracks glass templates and sealed units that need to be remade

Primary Qualifications Required:


  • High School Diploma required
  • Postsecondary education related to position ideal
  • Window and door service experience required
  • Supervisory or leadership experience is ideal


  • MS Office

  • Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Product and service knowledge
  • Thorough understanding of regional location needed
