The current starting wage is $22.20/hour with incremental increases to $23.55/hour based on tenure as per our Collective Agreement

Your duties may include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing butcher and slaughter production areas and everything in between to ensure top-quality food safety standards.
• Operating cleaning equipment like high-pressure hoses to clean production equipment.
• Using cleaning chemicals with respect and following Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Ensuring all Quality Assurance checks are performed.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area throughout the facility.
• Collaborating as a team to meet tight deadlines, ensuring production floors operate on time.

We are looking for people who are:

• Fit and capable of working in a physically demanding role. Capable of bending, lifting, and climbing.
• to work the Monday to Friday shift from 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM.
• of repetitive manual tasks and standing for long periods of time
• of working in diverse environments, including exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and odors
• of one (1) to seven (7) months experience in sanitation, or industrial cleaning or heavy-duty cleaning
• of Secondary school or equivalent experience
• to effectively communicate in English
• least 18 years old to meet the minimum age requirement
