Position:
Building Maintenance (IBEW, Group 4)

Location:
Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hours of Work:
Part-time

Responsibilities:

Clean reception areas, lobbies, staff kitchens and offices. Cleaning the inside/outside of windows
Sweeping and mopping the floor
Ensure all carpets are properly vacuumed
Floor polishing and buffing as needed
Empty trash cans and recyclables
Ensure waste is properly disposed of or recycled as required
Service bathrooms (Ensuring they are properly cleaned on a regular basis)
Snow shovelling as required
Notify management of deficiencies or needs for repair
Ability to work overnights and weekends
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous work experience as a cleaner
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
WHMIS
High school Diploma
Valid driver's license
