Description

The Singing Frog Studio has been producing feature films and animated series in 2D, 3D and even virtual reality for over 15 years.

Today, we are more than 70 artists and specialists involved in these enriching and ambitious productions.

Several 3D Compositing Artists are wanted to work with us on this innovative project, the ScreenX adaptation of a 3D animation film production.

This search is part of our continued growth while maintaining the desire to remain a human-sized company that cultivates a caring environment.

Hybrid:
Working at the Studio or remotely from the province of Quebec, Canada.

Expected to start end of March 2023

Responsabilities
Reporting to the production director, your main responsibilities will be:

Integrate all 3D elements, including animation, effects, lighting
Match and harmonise the composition of the side screens with the central screen
Make all adjustments to colour, effects, exposure and lighting for quality rendering, consistency and aligned with the Director's intentions
Execute corrections as requested with an analytical mind on his/her work
Collaborate and share best practices with peers and the CG Supervisor to determine the best techniques
Report problems encountered in a continuous improvement approach
Ensures that established quality and style targets are met and that deadlines and quotas are respected
Work in collaboration with other departments, such as Lighting, Pipeline.

Skills & Qualifications**Our next diamond will have to meet the following criteria:

Minimum 3-5 years experience in compositing on 3D full CG productions
Proficiency in Maya and Nuke software required
Knowledge of Arnold and Shotgrid software is an asset
Interest in technical aspects
Good knowledge of lighting, composition and rendering principles
Attention to detail, methodical
Good communication, organisational skills, teamwork
Experience in lookdev or lighting, an asset
