About Us:
Huyck provides manufacturing companies with a wide range of Industrial Supplies and specializes in coatings. We are looking to fill up to two full-time positions in our Powder Coating Department.
The Powder Coating Department is a manually operated production line that requires team members to be physically fit and to enjoy being busy.
Role/Qualifications:
You will:
- Assist in any of the Powder Coating Stations as required to support production throughout the line.

Prep_ _
- Pulling material to fill orders, inspecting material for flaws, preparing material for coating (ex. cutting, drilling holes, sanding), racking material in preparation for Dipping_
- _
Hanging_ _
- Hanging material onto Overhead Bars, Pushing /Pulling Bars in and out of Oven(s) and Coating Booth(s)_
- _
Packaging_ _
- Inspect paint quality, package per customer specifications_
- _Be physically fit, able to be active on the job and lift 50lbs and up to 70lbs repeatedly_
- _Be able to complete work orders accurately, capable of speaking, reading and writing English_
- _Have excellent attention to detail - frequent quality checks are a must_
- _Have experience using a variety of power tools (ex. palm sander, drill, chop saw)_
- _
Respirator Required:_MUST BE CLEAN SHAVEN WHERE THE RESPIRATOR SEALS WITH YOUR FACE._
- _Have excellent attendance - this position is 40 hours per week. Monday through Thursday from 7:00am - 4:30pm and Fridays from 7:00am to 11:00am_
- _Forklift experience/certification an asset_
- _Be legally entitled to work in Canada and reside in the Lower Mainland_
