We are currently recruiting for aMaterial Stores Assistant to join the Arcfield team in
Calgary. Reporting to the Material Control Lead, you will use your knowledge of supply chain processes and excellent teamwork skills to assist the department in storing, handling, and distributing aviation components to support daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receipt incoming stock on a variety of custom software platforms.
- Select stock for shipment and physically move the item(s) to the shipper/receiver area for shipment.
- Conducting cycle counts and carrying out investigations to determine and correct any discrepancies.
- Provide backup support for 2 other warehouse areas including distribution of parts and raising scrap requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 35 years of experience working in a warehouse and/or supply chain environment
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience using any Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system for warehouse management
- Customer service focused with strong interpersonal skills and detail oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted on an infrequent basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Canadian Armed Forces Supply Administration Manual and DRMIS
- Canadian Armed Forces Veteran with supply/logistic background is ideal
