HR Administrative Assistant
LOCATION:
Centennial Auto Group, Summerside, PEI
HOURS:
Full time, Permanent. Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
COMPENSATION:
$ $24.00 per hour + benefits. (negotiable based on experience)
THE PERFECT FIT:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the HR department.
This is done through the coordination and execution of human resources activities, including HR policies, procedures and initiatives for the Centennial Auto Group of companies.
This role requires a high level of professionalism with a focus on accuracy and detail.We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a "can-do attitude" and a willingness to learn in a fun working environment.

- High degree of confidentiality and sensitivity for complete employee and company privacy
- Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations
- Must be approachable and have a teamfostering attitude
- Strong critical thinking skills and good ethical judgment
- Ability to prioritize, multitask effectively and have strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
JOB TASKS:
- Assist in daily administrative support to the HR Manager
- Maintain accurate information in the company HRIS system to ensure data integrity
- Assist with development, implementation, and communication of best HR policies and practices
- Complete onboarding/ offboarding process for new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, etc.
- Maintain and stock all Centennial Auto Group first aid kits and supplies
- Assist in company HRrelated events (i.e., staff appreciation, banquets, etc)
- Assist in the administration of the company performance management program, workers compensation, and other benefit programs.
- Travel to other company locations when necessary for work assignments
