Position Overview:
Swish Maintenance Limited is currently looking for a Service Technician at our Kingston, Ontario branch.
The role of the Service Technician is to maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring timely equipment service including but not limited to emergency repairs, planned maintenance, pre-and post-delivery inspections, training and general customer service as it pertains to equipment service.
Previous experience is an asset, not required, we are committed to the learning and development of the right team membersDuties & Responsibilities:
- Servicing and repairing industrial and commercial equipment (small motors) including electrical problems in house and onsite
- Involved with inventory control of replacement parts and equipment
- Proactive for care, maintenance, stocking and general housekeeping of service van
- Responsible to complete all scheduled service calls based on service procedures
- Assist with any Industrial equipment demonstrations/rentals required by sales, staff, management or customers
- Accountable for hours and paperwork spent on outside or in house service calls
- Participate in reducing customer down time through Planned Maintenance Agreement sales
- May be required to perform after hours'/weekend emergency Industrial Service repairs
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Clean Drivers abstract
- Commercial level of acquired technical/mechanical knowledge such as small engine or automotive technician.
- Good organizational skills and clerical abilities as you will be responsible for maintaining a fully stocked parts department.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, staff and suppliers in a pleasant and professional manner
- Motor skills to operate computer, Custom software, phones, debit and interac machines
Education:
- Minimum High School Diploma
