Trade Customization Planner , located in Markham, Ontario.

The Trade Customization Planner is responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely execution of promotional and club pack activities. They use PRF (portfolio management tool) to manage their individual portfolios. They lead cross-functional efforts internally once the Promotional, Club Pack and/or re-work project(s) have been approved.

In doing so the Trade Customization Planner is also responsible for overseeing Supply Chain activities with our third-party packaging site(s).


Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for the Promotional SKU UFR (Unit Fill Rate), inventory, profit, and other key metrics for assigned brands and projects. Drives analysis and corrective action for out of stock situations.
  • Partners with Supply and Demand Planning from the onset of a project to ensure volumes are feasible. Revisits post final allocations. Relays feasibility to Trade Customization Manager and participates in closing gaps as required
  • SAP "Power User". Responsible for transactions such as production orders, purchase orders, pick lists, forecasts, nonstock PO's (Ariba).
  • Collaborates crossfunctionally to ensure that related systems and processes are maintained and followed (i

e:
code creation, price lists, pricing input, Sharepoint, etc).

  • Places component orders with vendors. Ensures costs are accurate "as per quotes" and resolves invoice discrepancies.
  • Ensures that Trade Promotions have information required to communicate promotions to the Sales team and to gather firm quantities from Sales team.
  • Ensures timely completion of Master Data to announce promotional activity to trade.
  • Collaborates with Demand Management and Trade Promotion regarding customer allocations and forecasts. Active participation in regularly scheduled meetings to input into the forecasting S&OP process.
  • Accountable for post promotion Inventory Control in the Distribution Centre.
  • Ensures timely Production of Sales Samples.
  • Reporting / Performance Measurements.
  • Responsible for the keeping SAP planning fully uptodate and accurate.
  • Drives process Improvements.

Qualifications:


  • University/Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent is required (Supply Chain or Business studies is preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a planning/supply chain environment is required
  • SAP planning knowledge is an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office software, advanced Excel skills an asset
  • Strong planning, organization and time management skills
  • Highly detailoriented
  • Ability to assess, manage and elevate risk proactively
  • Ability to work and effectively manage priorities in a dynamic and fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work independently, and without direct supervision, demonstrating a high sense of urgency
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (given heavy interaction with Third Party Packaging Contractors, Component Suppliers and Internal business partners (Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Care, Distribution & Transportation, Quality Assurance, Finance, etc)
  • Proven track record of problemsolving skills
  • Continuous improvement and resultsoriented mindset

Other:


  • Head Office Environment.
  • Less than 10% "Out-OfProvince" travel required
  • Expected to be mobile and able to travel locally in order to visit suppliers onsite and also conduct retail store checks
