We're on the hunt for a hybrid cloud virtuoso who can help us on our hybrid cloud journey. As a Senior Technical Analyst, you'll be joining a team that is in charge of AMA's hybrid cloud environment and champion the exploration of new technologies and methodologies.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Report to the Team Lead, Hybrid Cloud Operations.
    • Champion change within the team to support our culture of continual improvement.
    • Demonstrate technical mastery and thought leadership in hybrid cloud infrastructure.
    • Support the creation and maintenance of infrastructure standards for design, technical architecture, operations, and security processes in AWS, Azure, and on-premises.
    • Act as a subject matter expert for infrastructure in cross organizational projects.
    • Develop scripts and automation to streamline IT operational processes.
    • Mentor your teammates to help them one day reach your skill and aptitude.
    • Collaborate, support, and provide guidance for development and application teams.
    • Monitor system performance, analyze system issues, and lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve problems.
    • Evaluate, design, and implement new products, tools and technology that could address both known and unknown organizational need.

    WHAT YOU'VE DONE

    • You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in an appropriate field like Information Technology or Computer Science.
    • Strong experience (2+ years) with cloud platform and 5+ years of on-premises experience in an enterprise environment.
    • You're highly proficient with:
      • AWS (preferred) or Azure
      • VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V
      • Enterprise storage solutions (NetApp preferred)
      • Microsoft Windows Server & Linux
      • Hybrid cloud backup solutions
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Excellent self-organization skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Leading technical implementation projects.
    • You'll get bonus points if you also have:
      • Agile experience (Lean, SCRUM, Kanban)
      • AWS experience (SysOps Administrator Associate, Solutions Architect Associate)
      • Experience with management of Relational Database Systems (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
      • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure experience
      • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc)
