    Student Research Assistant - Psychology
    Posting Summary Position Title Student Research Assistant
    • Psychology Faculty/Department Faculty of Arts Unit Arts-Psychology Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Student Number of Vacancies 6 Position Summary · Data cleaning, checking, and analyses.
    . Training students and personnel in data analysis, cleaning, and management . Working closely with the primary investigator and other research assistants to ensure adherence to study protocols · Assisting in monitoring participant progress and issuing reminder emails/ text messages to participants for any outstanding work that requires their attention · Actively maintaining Excel spreadsheets with information regarding gift card compensations and participant activity Position Requirements · Familiarity and experience with Qualtrics Surveying software (creating surveys; collating and storing data; Flexibility and ability to work on several ongoing projects at once · Experience working with people with mental health challenges · Highly experienced with data analysis software, such as SPSS and Microsoft Excel.

    · Experience with online forms of data gathering (e.g., crowdsourcing websites such as Amazon's Mechanical Turk and/or Prolific) and surveying .

    Experience with writing or preparing peer-reviewed APA manuscripts. For casual work maximum 15 hours biweekly.
