Summary:


Reporting to the Supervisor, Dispatch, the Dispatch Coordinator participates in the overall functioning of the Operational Control Centre (activities are active 24/7, 365/366 days per year).

On behalf of the Manager OCC, the Dispatch Coordinator provides information, guidance and updates to assist the pilot in command to exercise safe and efficient operational control over Execaire's flights and ImageAir flights.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the Pilot in Command in their responsibilities
  • Conduct the Shift Change Checklist and Carry Over Briefing at every shift change
  • Flight plan as per the company policies outlined in this web manual and the Company Operations Manual
  • Flight follow as per the Flight Following and Flight Watch policy and procedure. Complete day of trip changes.
  • Monitor enroute and destination weather.
  • Trigger the AOG process flow.
  • Generate flight plans for overflight permit planning.
  • Coordinate flight fuel and prepare fuel tankering plan.
  • Monitor the Execaire Operations phone 24/7 as per the department Phone System Routing.
  • Monitor aircraft delay potential and take steps to mitigate delays.
  • Monitor assets away from base, advise the crew and the Manager of Flight Operations in the case of asset risk.
  • Complete all mandatory dispatchtraining items as per the Dispatch Training Plan and the company Training Control Manual.
  • Trigger Execaire's Emergency Response Plan when required.
  • Assume Trip Support, Flight Concierge and crew scheduling responsibilities when the aforementioned are not available.

Requirements:


  • Proven computer skills with Flight Planning Software).
  • DEP (Flight Dispatch) is an asset
  • Dynamic and energetic leader in operational issues with strong leadership, motivational and communication skills. Ability to think/work creatively and strategically.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Bilingual (Spoken and written).
  • Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends; based on a schedule of 12.5 hour shifts.14 days out 35 days.
