This position is based out of Mississauga, ON. Trapeze employees may benefit from a hybrid work environment.

As a Billing Analyst, You Will Be:

Review executed legal agreements/sales arrangements (including statements of work) to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with Trapeze policy and Revenue Recognition under IFRS 1
Ensure that contracts are set up timely and accurately and proactively advising management when issues or delays arise.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with external and internal clients and management through clear, concise, timely communication and support.
Prepare, review, print/save quotes and final approved invoices in a timely manner, including any follow up that is required with others in the organization and in some cases, directly with the client.
Follow up with customers as needed in receiving executed purchase orders to secure funding for the project.
Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices to manage DSO targets
Prepare various reports and analysis related to billing, receivables, revenue, WIP.
Calculate and transfer revenue that is shared within Trapeze and Modaxo/Volaris, in accordance with executed Teaming Agreements as well as receive Revenue Transfers
Month end/quarter end close activities, including but not limited to posting Revenue and monthly reconciliations
Reporting related to WIP, Provisions, Backlog, Utilization and other Delivery metrics
Assist with other accounting projects as needed including continuous improvement of processes and building efficiencies through automation.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance, CPA preferred
At least 2 years of experience within a finance/accounting role at a publicly traded company; software preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and a motivated self starter with a strong work ethic and keen interest to learn
Ability to analyze situations and solve problems independently with mínimal supervision
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadlineoriented environment while maintaining a high attention to detail ensuring accurate results
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required for this role
Experience managing high volumes of data in a repository such as Power Bi is an asset
