SHEET METAL PRODUCTION MANAGER
Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, meeting production targets, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes.

Duties

Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands
Manage and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth production flow
Oversee the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of production staff
Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications
Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials
Implement lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

Proven 5 Years experience as a sheet metal Production Manager
Strong knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes and systems
Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
Mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication and assembly processes
Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
Strong problemsolving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
