As GeoScan Subsurface Surveys Business Development Associate, you will be supported and encouraged to grow with every opportunity. As a foundation to our sales team, this role will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to learn and sharpen your sales skills, while working with a flexible, hungry, smart and humble team


You will make an impact for our organization by building customer relationships, providing superior customer service, closing deals, and networking to build a strong pipeline of future customers.

You'll use your experience and knowledge to strategically and consultatively help our clients with custom plans that truly meet their needs.

This role is the foundation of our sales team and provides a fantastic opportunity to learn and sharpen your sales skills.

As our Business Development Associate, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Build customer relationships
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Network to build a strong pipeline of future customers
  • Capitalize on our CRM system using data and logic to close deals
  • Strategically and consultatively help our clients with customer plans that meet their needs
On your resume, we will be looking for the following:

  • Record of achievement with sales goals and building a pipeline
  • Valid class 5 BC driver's license
  • Minimum of 12 years of Business or Sales Development Representative experience
  • Experience in trades such as construction, environmental, engineering (civil), surveying
  • Knowledge of underground utility infrastructure, civil engineering, or surveying
  • Awareness and understanding of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and other geophysical methods
  • Experience estimating, quoting, and submitting formal proposals
  • Experience with Microsoft and Google Suite of Products
