asset managers, pension funds, banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, corporates, family offices, sovereign funds and retail network distributors around the world.


In Canada, our offering is focused on sales and agency trading within the Equities and Equity Derivatives division; including a large Prime Services and Clearing offering.

With more than 30 years of experience across equity derivatives, we are a pioneer across both flow and exotic products.

Our market leading expertise and diverse business mix allows us to offer clients the full spectrum of equity based services, across cash equity markets, listed and OTC derivatives.

As well, the prime services and clearing department at Société Générale provides cross-asset solutions for asset managers, hedge funds, professional trading groups, banks, brokers and corporates.

The V

IE Sales Assistant EQD will:

  • Gain exposure to capital market products (equities, futures and listed derivatives, OTC derivatives, light exotics, prime brokerage and clearing )
  • Take part in the team/client strategy, product pushes and initiatives, client meetings
  • Assist senior sales in development of tools in the sales process programming
  • Write and circulate meeting notes and briefing memo's
  • Coordinate onboarding requests
  • Support KYC (evaluating requests, providing contacts, performing followups
  • Send various weekly and monthly sales updates
  • Assist in the preperation of client meetings marketing materials and pitchbooks
Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary.

Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.

Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.


Profile required:


Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a Master degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance/Engineering/Programming/Mathematics
  • A previous experience in Finance would be appreciated

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & soft skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Attention to detail Project management skills
- ability to organize and follow up independently on projects

  • Programming skills
