We are looking for a talented
Mechanical Technician to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our
New Power Business in
Mississauga,
ON.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), pokayoke and visual standards.
Performs quality inspections, ensuring product quality through standard work, inspections, and control of nonconforming material.
Meets production goals by operating equipment for manufacturing and assembly.
Maintains safety and comply with HSE standards, reporting incidents and hazards.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Mechanical/Electrical diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Requires 3 years of experience in the related field/industry or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or onthejob experience.
Strong knowledge of the manufacturing sector and readiness to adhere to safety measures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
