The Role:
ERP Business Analyst


As the ERP Business Analyst, you will be a member of Svante's Digital Business team and work with various departments, such as Manufacturing, Product Development, Facilities, Quality, Finance and others.

Your primary role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of project stakeholders. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user requirements for vendors and/or development teams.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor's or higher degree in Management of Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Finance, plus a minimum of ten years' recent experience in a similar role.
  • You have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, techniques, and best practices is crucial. This includes familiarity with production planning, inventory management, quality control, lean manufacturing principles, and cost analysis.
  • You are familiar with relevant technology tools and systems used in manufacturing is beneficial. This includes Microsoft Dynamics Business Central enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, manufacturing execution systems (MES) and data analytics platforms.
  • You have a good knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies: Azure AD, O365, SharePoint, Teams.
  • You are experienced with business analysis in an enterprise environment, including requirements gathering, UAT, software implementation, project management methodology, change management and version control.
  • You have the ability to analyze business problems by looking at both processes and technology.
  • You have a solid understanding and working experience with Portfolio Program and Project Management Tools, System Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative), Business Analysis tools, diagrams, and methodologies.

What success looks like in this role:

  • You will conduct interviews to gather user requirements through workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
  • You will identify and establish the scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a projectbyproject basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
  • You will assist in researching software and hardware products to meet agreedupon requirements and participate in the selection of any requirements documentation software solutions that the organization may opt to use.
  • You will continuously monitor and assess business processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes.
  • You will provide guidance and training to stakeholders on Business Analysis tools, diagrams and best practices.
  • You will manage customer relationships by providing support; communicating ERP standards; answering questions; resolving concerns and issues.
  • You will collaborate with the Change Management and Training teams to assist with the training material, release notes and presentations for newly implemented systems changes/releases.
