General Information:

The specialist will act as a liaison between engineering and production in managing material requirements and manufacturing steps in the SAP environment.

Responsibilities:

Creation of product structures in SAP Creation of new parts in SAP in connection with the BOMs provided by the engineering team Creation of mechanical and mechanically welded assembly operation lists for factory production in SAP Update and maintenance of various standard and productspecific parts in SAP Entering material requirements into SAP per the terms of delivery in Processing of engineering change notices (ECN) for both documentation and material requirements Factory support drawing changes Creation of RCN's in SAP and requisition of related material Collaborative link between the purchasing and engineering departments Followup and update of planning tools for engineering Daily presence on the production floor Followup of material consumption versus production order closure
Qualifications:

Knowledge of SAP is an asset

Technician in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or logistics operations Fluency in French and English (written and oral) Knowledge in reading mechanical drawings; BOM, understanding of mechanical and welded steel, understanding of mechanical assembly and mechanicallywelded assembly steps Ability to make decisions and autonomy Working knowledge of MS office Demonstrated ability to organize work, set priorities with a team
