About the Role

SMS Security has been providing security solutions to the GTA for over 35 years with a strong presence in the multi-residential market.

Our customers trust our advanced security systems and highly trained security personnel to keep them, their property, and their information secure.

With our business growing, we're looking for a full-time Senior Technician to join our team.

What you'll be doing:

Servicing and installing a wide range of security systems (access control, video, alarms, etc.)
Driving to customers across the GTA to work onsite
Problemsolving complex technical issues
Managing projects in accordance with timelines and budget expectations
Communicating project or service updates to customers
Identifying opportunities to improve customers' security setups
Training Junior Technicians

What you can expect from us:

What you bring to the table:

Minimum 3-5 years experience in a technical role
Aptitude for handling multiple projects simultaneously
Strong leadership, time management, and customer service skills
Experience using power tools
Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labour in a variety of settings (indoors, outdoors, at heights)
Valid Ontario driver's license (G level) and personal vehicle
Availability and flexibility to be oncall one week per quarter
Workplace Safety certifications preferred
