OFFICE CLERK:
This is a full-time
in-office position. Available immediately.
As the production assistant your job will entail working in a fast-paced professional environment in our transcription department processing orders for legal transcripts.
You must be adept at working effectively with our clientele while displaying tact, diplomacy and a high level of confidentiality.
The ideal individual will have above-average time management skills and the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as new tasks are received.
Responsibilities:
- Service transcription/job orders from start to finish, including dealing with clients and service providers, quality control oversight, and invoice products to clients.
- Efficiently manage and promptly respond to all incoming inquiries/requests for information independently or redirect to the appropriate person/area
- Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning and filing
Experience and skills required:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn industryspecific software program
- Excellent English, both spoken and written
- Ability to stay calm and friendly under pressure
- Excel at managing multiple priorities and changing priorities
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills; the ability to be proactive vs reactive
- Very strong organizational skills
- Pays close attention to detail, ensuring all documentation, spelling, grammar and other information is accurate
- Strong listening and processing skills; able to stay focused and on task
- Excellent followup skills
Salary:
$41,000.00 per year
Benefits:

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (required)
Experience:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
