Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role involves supervising staff, managing customer interactions, and ensuring the store meets its sales and service goals. The Team Leader will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive team culture, implementing sales strategies, and maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Supervise daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and cash handling.
Oversee recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of team members to ensure high performance.
Manage payroll processing, scheduling, and time management for staff.
Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints effectively, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Coordinate purchasing decisions and manage pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
Utilize POS systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting purposes.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training sessions.
Maintain organizational standards related to store cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance.

Requirements

Proven experience in supervising or managing retail teams with strong leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Demonstrated proficiency in retail sales, merchandising, POS systems, and cash handling.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and sales management.
Knowledge of marketing strategies and promotional planning within a retail setting.
Ability to handle administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory control.
Exceptional interpersonal skills including negotiation, phone etiquette, and customer service excellence.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
