Overview


As an HR Business Partner, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's strategic goals through effective human resources management.

You will serve as a liaison between management and employees, ensuring that HR programs, policies, and initiatives align with the overall business objectives.

This role demands effective communication skills and a deep understanding of both HR practices and the company's industry, culture, and goals.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide consultative strategic HR partnership and guidance to client group business leaders and employees on various HR issues and matters.
  • Advise management and employees on interpretation of employment practices and administration of HR policies and programs.
  • Be an ambassador for positive employee experience by influencing and driving manager effectiveness, transparent communication, a healthy company culture, and fair and equitable workplace practices.
  • Act as a mediator and advisor in resolving employee issues and conflicts, including conducting investigations related to employee complaints.
  • Partner with Talent team to identify staffing needs and participate in the hiring process for key positions.
  • Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and recognition programs.
  • Collaborate with the Talent team to identify training needs and implement training programs.
  • Support employee development initiatives, including leadership development and mentorship programs.
  • Utilize HR data and reporting to identify trends and make datadriven recommendations.
  • Prepare regular HR reports for management, summarizing key metrics and trends.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, as required.
  • Participate as an active member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JH&SC)

Qualifications and Competencies:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Administration, or related field. CHRL/CHRP designation considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in generalist or business partnership roles.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, consumer goods or pharma environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to coach and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and HRrelated technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and build strong relationships across the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to address complex HR challenges.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and proactively seek innovative solutions.
  • A high degree of professionalism and independence.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity and professionalism.
  • High level of proficiency with technology, including HRrelated systems (Dayforce), MS Office, and other business tools.
  • Willingness to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per week.
