About The Role:


Thentia is looking for a People Programs Manager to contribute to the development and to deploy and deliver people related programs related to all key areas of HR / People domain including but not limited to: compensation and benefits; analytics, HRIS implementation, training and development; talent management and succession; diversity, equity and inclusion; onboarding; performance management; employee engagement and retention; health, safety and wellness; and, legislative compliance.

The goal is to ensure that all the People needs of the company are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.


This role will report into the VP, People and will collaborate with a wide range of leaders and teams including People, Finance, Training, Communications & Brand.

You will support Thentia People through transformational change and rapid growth with teams across all regions (Canada, U.S, U.K) to ensure organizational alignment.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation of datadriven People solutions; use relevant data to inform and create insights for decision making and overall team performance in areas related to but not limited to:
  • compensation and benefits;
  • HRIS implementation and analytics;
- training and development;
- talent management and succession;
- diversity, equity and inclusion;
- onboarding;
- performance management;
- employee engagement and retention;
- health, safety and wellness; and,
- legislative compliance.

  • Project manage the efficient and effective deployment of including programs and process to ensure communication, process adherence, and to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of the People Playbook including an annual calendar of programs and process and ensure continuous improvement through agile practices and optimize adoption and change management to meet ongoing evolving needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure program deployment meets unique organizational needs to ensure effective adoption.
  • Conduct research and facilitate internal knowledge transfer on contemporary people practices that meet the current and future needs of the company.
  • Ensure that policies, programs, processes and operating procedures are documented and published and reviewed annually and contribute to the maintenance and adoption of any changes required.
  • Ensure that programs and policies are aligned with regional legislation in U.S., Canada, UK, in consultation with experts including internal or external counsel.
  • Demonstrate good judgement to resolve issues quickly and efficiently and escalate when appropriate.

Qualifications:


  • At least 5 years of directly related experience, specifically in agile environments such as software, technology, and / or other progressive growth oriented B2B or B2G companies.
  • Professional CHRP, CHRL, or SHRM designation coupled with related postsecondary education.
  • Must have demonstrated related experiences and expertise to strategize, project manage, and deliver on People programs and initiatives in at least 3 of the following areas: compensation and benefits; analytics, HRIS implementation; training and development; talent management and succession; performance management; or employee engagement and retention.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with a degree of autonomy while also managing stakeholder needs.
  • High attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and timelines.
  • Results and metrics oriented, highly analytical, problem solver, and proficiency in data analysis, spreadsheet (Excel or other tools).
  • Professional, collegial, and 'in service' mindset, with welldeveloped communication abilities including verbal, written, and presentation.
  • Experience with various people domain tools and software such as HRIS (BambooHR or other), Engagement and Performance and Development (e.g. 15Five) and planning or project management tools (e.g. Wrike).
