Description

CGI is seeking a Business Analyst to join our corporate Global Business services team located in downtown Montreal.

The PCB Business Analyst supports the Global Business Services (GBS) Application and the GBS Operations teams with functional, technical and process support.

Additionally, they are responsible for implementing initiatives and automations related to business processes and systems, based on the priorities that CGI have made.

Initiatives may be strategic, tactical, or operational.

The CAS is working in a continuously changing, challenging and international environment and this role require a close communication and interaction with multiple internal clients around CGI worldwide.

The Business Analyst will play a key role mainly for Order to Cash (O2C) Project, Contract, Billing, (PCB)

Your future duties and responsibilities

Develop expertise in operational and financial processes to support the expanded Global Business services, as well as inhouse clients
Give technical support to GBS Operations teams based in Montreal, Lisbon and India
Analyze, document, and follow up on changes and resolution on incidents
Maintain system configuration
Ensure continuous development of QA activities
Participate in various initiatives to improve the effectiveness of systems and processes
Conduct detailed business analysis, impact analysis, identify risks and recommend mitigation measures
Work with enhancement requests: writing specifications, executing tests and documenting results
Update existing documentation or create new, when the process or system have been enhanced
Identify opportunities for improvements and system enhancements to improve business processes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in business process analysis is required
A good understanding of the Finance processes is required
Have good understanding of Finance ERP system (Peoplesoft Project costing, Contracts, Billing, GL)
Ability to analyze, problemsolving skills and synthesize large amounts of information
Aptitude for and interest in IT tools and highvolume data processing
Aptitude for process designing.
Ability to communicate with the business (internal customers) and the IT team.
Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
