    Description

    Java trading developer WHO WE ARE Quanteam is an independent Financial Markets consulting company based in France, the UK, the USA, Canada, and Morocco.

    Our team of 800 employees supports Corporate and Investment Banks, Asset Management Companies, Insurance, and Corporate for their projects in SI transformation, technology innovation, financial engineering, and regulatory implementation.

    We are looking for a Java trading developer to work with one of our clients based in Montreal.

    Job DescriptionThe client IT team is responsible for the delivery of a strategic platform for Equities, ETF, Derivatives, and Swaps trading flows, etc.

    This is an opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic team player to be part of the Regulatory development team that is responsible to prepare Datawarehouse for various Front-Office, middle-office, and regulatory systems.

    We are looking for a self-motivated team player with strong previous experience as a senior technology developer with a good technical and functional understanding of Front-Office processes and data flows in Equity Derivative systems.

    ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and Enhancement of Data-warehouse to be used for Regulatory requirements.
    Write technical specifications and document functional flows.
    Qualifications5+ years of experience in Core Java.
    Hands-on experience in Oracle Database, PL/SQL.Must have Exposure to Equity or Derivative products in Front-Office or regulatory reporting systems.
    Must be experienced in Linux and Bash Shell/Scripting.
    Must know software design principles and patterns.
    Experience in Python is a plus.

    Knowledge of Middleware (MQ, JMS, etc.) Knowledge of trade life cycle and global market financial products is a big plus.

    Practice in Agile methodology is a plus.
    Practice in test-driven development is a plus.
