In this role you will take responsibility for all operative aspects of the sales team covering Canada. Your current team consists of one Sales Manager and will grow to a team of 2 in 2023.

You will work hand in hand with your peers managing the North America Sales team reporting to the General Manager of North America.

A significant amount of sales is being performed through our partners and distributors.

Your job is to ensure double to triple digit sales growth per year by closely managing your team's pipeline and being on the ground for the most important deals.


Responsibilities:


  • Expand and lead the Sales team in Canada, driving strong revenue growth
  • Lead by example by spending time in the field with your team
  • Take ownership of the company's revenue targets, both through generating new revenue and retaining/growing existing customer relationships
  • Manage sales activities, deal flow and performance of your team members to motivate a high performing sales team and create a results oriented environment
  • Provide the management team with performance assessments, revenue, forecasting analytics and strategic plans for pipeline development
  • Onboard, train, and mentor new hires and create a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
  • Play a key role in promoting commercial innovation, new thinking and methods for the business as a whole.

Requirements:


  • Successful track record leading a distributed sales team
  • Experience working with and navigating distribution partners
  • You are excellent at mentoring and coaching, can easily connect with people, and understand how you can motivate a team or individuals
  • You can easily adjust to a European business environment and translate desired strategies into local US context
  • You have experience in managing a distributed remote team very efficiently using face2face meetings, video conferencing, CRMs, and asynchronous communication.
  • You are at home using and interpreting data and working in a modern CRM like Hubspot or project management software like Clickup
  • Fluent in French
  • You are willing to travel up to 50%

Bonus points if you have:


  • Familiarity with the construction, surveying and mapping, or the mining industry
