INTRODUCTION:

Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization established in 1925 with a mission to prioritize offering significant employment opportunities for veterans and individuals dedicated to the welfare of Canadians, mainly focusing on security guard and associated services.

Operating across Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are tailored to address the varying security requirements of both private and public sector clients. These services encompass uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement, and identification services.

We are currently looking for a Commissionaire to become part of our expanding team.

WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Conducting fieldwork related to safety compliance inspections.
Main focus involves inspecting first aid kits, first aid rooms, and AED units to ensure compliance, supply, and proper functioning for an effective first aid response
Creating compliance reports and aiding in various departmental activities as assigned.
Receiving inspection assignments from the Operations Coordinator.
Performing thorough and precise inspections of first aid supplies and other resources.
Carrying out detailed inspections or installation of AED units and other necessary resources.
Evaluating equipment as per manufacturer's / regulatory standards or client Standard Operating Procedures. Ensuring equipment is in good working condition to facilitate an efficient first aid response.
Compiling detailed written reports based on field assessments, offering suitable conclusions & recommendations in line with site evaluation and interpretation of existing regulatory standards and guidelines.
Handling administrative tasks, including accurate and timely completion of timesheets/expenses & submission to the Operations Coordinator for project invoicing.
Delivering exceptional customer service and nurturing transparent service delivery relationships.
Capable of generating new sales using various methods as per managerial directives.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma

MUST have Full G License and Clean Drivers Abstract:

MUST hold Valid First Aid and CPR certification:

MUST have Minimum 5 Years of Residency in Canada:

Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
Familiarity with safety management systems and best practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Capable of working with minimal supervision.
Strong customer service, communication, and deportment skills.
