Position Summary:
Acuren is currently recruiting for an API 653 Inspector to support our client sites in the Prairies Region. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform API 653 inspections
- Competent in repair methodology and be able to create repair plans
- Act as a leader for the crew consisting of NDE technicians and assistants
- Coordinate onsite scheduling, client communications, other vendor communications
- Able to work with different combinations of crew members, with positive communication and feedback
- Keep safety in top priority for the team
Requirements:
- API 653 certification
- Minimum of 35 years NDE/Visual experience with visual inspections on in service equipment
- Additional certs such as API 510, API 570, ABSA ISI, TSASK are an asset
- Technical report writing skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform under the pressure.
- Mentoring skills.
- Ability to work extended hours.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel
