Reporting to the Manager, Entertainment Partnerships, the Associate, Projects & Relationships will build and cultivate relationships with entertainment, music, and sports partners, including identifying and coaching passionate advocates, storytellers & ambassadors to achieve strategic engagement and fundraising objectives on behalf of World Vision Canada.


The Associate, Projects & Relationships is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of World Vision Canada partnership events, activations, and tours, ensuring that the vision and goals for each event are met and exceeded.


The Associate, Projects & Relationships drives the execution of project plans, project schedules, production plans, marketing strategies, and the achievement of objectives and KPIs.


The Associate, Projects & Relationships works collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders across World Vision Canada as well as third-party partners, building relationships that support the successful execution and delivery of shared objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain relationships with artists, promoters, celebrity influencers, and sports partners.
  • Build strategic partner plans and journey's that deepen engagement and achieve strategic marketing and business objectives.
  • Provide highly proficient project management support in the development and execution of project plans, entertainment events, activations, and tours on behalf of World Vision in collaboration with entertainment partners.
  • Identify project scopes, constraints, risks, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Lead endtoend execution, production, and delivery of World Vision Canada partner tours and events through detailed project management processes including working collaboratively with both internal and external support teams.
  • Manage project administration and operations, including building and tracking budgets, overseeing invoices & payments, creating and monitoring contracts and SoW's and completing postmortem reporting.
  • Actively network and building new World Vision Canada relationships within the entertainment, music, and sports industry.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreement and business terms that demonstrate mutual benefit while adhering to strategic budget and stewardship commitments and best practices.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends and best practices and recommend opportunities for growth and expansion of market presence.
  • Maintain a high standard of excellence in relationship management, servicing and supporting all partners with continuous communication, education in support of our mission, appeal coaching, customer insights, and strategy development.
  • Arrange and oversee staffing including, tour reps, staff, and volunteers for all events.
  • Operate within an agile scrum framework to manage tasks and deliverables.
  • Ensure cohesive collaboration with vendors and partners while providing a consistent experience with WVC messaging, products and brandguided relationship management while ensuring excellence in delivery and adherence to WVC strategy and policies.

Qualifications required:


  • Postsecondary education in Business, Marketing, Entertainment Management, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management or event management.
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship/partnership management with a proven track record of collaboration, negotiation, and reciprocity.
  • Highly skilled at networking and enhancing corporate relations.
  • Demonstrated high level of personal ownership, collaborative teamwork, holistic valuecentric perspective, work adaptability.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships/shows/events and work under tight deadlines when necessary.
  • Advanced organizational, interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as events require; some travel required.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and with Agile principles considered an asset.
