Description
Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative is often the first contact with customers. He/she is responsible for providing relevant information on the products and services offered by the company. He/she will also be responsible for performing administrative tasks related to the branch.

Also, the incumbent is responsible for preparing order forms and planning delivery departure times according to customer needs, in close collaboration with the shipping department.

In addition, the consultant will work with other departments of the company, namely the purchasing department, the credit department as well as the sales department.


Responsibilities:


  • Respond, in person or on the phone, to customer inquiries;
  • Greet customers and discuss the characteristics, quality and quantity of goods or services they wish to purchase;
  • Handle complaints about products, services or policies of the establishment;
  • Receive payments, arrange for refunds, exchanges and credit notes for returned merchandise;
  • Quote prices, specify credit and exchange terms, warranties and delivery dates;
  • Prepare sales contracts, and accept payment by cash, check, credit card or automatic debit;
  • Use computerized inventory and stock control systems;
  • Handle returns with customers;
  • Any other related duties.

Required Skills:


  • Possess a high school diploma;
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar position;
  • Bilingual English/French, spoken and written;
  • Good knowledge of Outlook and its task system;
  • Knowledge of the construction industry (roofing an asset);
  • Ability to work under pressure and be able to manage a large volume of calls;
  • Very strong listening skills;
  • Ability to manage several files simultaneously;
  • Promote teamwork;
