Responsibilities:

Manage performance and efficiencies of Appliance, Electronic and Furniture Repair Technicians and Contractors
Ensure all Retail locations are properly supported to maximize the sales of product and warranties
Interact with manufacturers in regards to technical support
Ensure adequate levels of service are provided in all markets of service area through In House Technicians, contractors or depots
Ensure all staff receives adequate technical and company policy training as required
Communication and enforcement of all health and safety policies and procedures
Conduct regular departmental meetings to enhance staff engagement
Perform staff hiring, discipline and performance appraisals
Liaise with Distribution, Fleet, Call Centre and Stores regarding any operational concerns
Provide monthly operational reporting as required

Qualifications:

5 years' experience in repair service environment; previous supervisory experience is an asset
Technical background in Appliances & Electronics repair preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent Computer Skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel)
