Install Lead - Residential & Commercial Millwork Projects.

The primary task of the Install Lead is to:

  • Lead the installation process for commercial and residential projects:
  • Kitchens, Bars, Islands, Closets, Millwork Wall Features, Reception Desks, etc.
  • Assist/conduct various site measuring responsibilities.
  • Adapt drawings based on site conditions to ease installation.
  • Decide best installation method based on site conditions.
  • Work with project managers to overcome site conditions and complete installations.
  • Coordinate and lead Junior Installers on site, including load/unload, install, touch ups, etc.
  • Communicate installation progress to Project Managers
  • Flexible hours are required. Shifts may start early in the morning/ afternoon/ evening. Afternoon/Evening/Nights may be required at times for special projects. If overnight accommodations are required (Muskoka, North Bay, etc.) accommodations will be provided.


As a Lead Installer, you will primarily work in a team setting and you will likely be paired with another experienced/junior installer, depending on the project requirements.

The goal of this role is to complete jobs independently/ on a small team and to uphold a high-quality standard.

When working with a Junior Installer, the Lead Installer will assume a leadership role. You will be the primary point on contact on site and will interface with GC's/Clients during the installation.

The Lead Installer will provide feedback to the shop to ease the installation process, and to ensure a good installed quality is achieved.


A large majority of the installation may include: staff kitchens, cabinets, reception desks, various elements installed in grocery stores, etc.

At times, we will hang millwork elements from the ceiling, all training will be provided. Experience in 'complicated' installs is an asset.
