As a content technician specialist, you provide administrative and operational support to the organization. You strive to maximize operational productivity.
This may include working in one or more sub-specialties, such as data entry, data processing and verification of database data integrity.
You perform administrative, office and other tasks to help your unit achieve operational objectives and carry out initiatives in accordance with the detailed guidelines in place.
You help process and analyze information, solve problems and prepare recommendations, tailoring your approach as needed. You also help users operate tools and systems effectively.
General Information on the Position
Main responsibilities- Completes documents requiring specific expertise and accuracy (e.g. legal, accounting or finance)- Acts as an operational resource within the unit- Helps develop and implement new work methods and procedures to improve unit productivity- Periodically produces and distributes reports and analyzes impacts on the unit's business processes- Performs quality controls as part of the unit's business processes- Will be required to conduct phone time in the auto/property queue for inquiries and first notice of loss- Conduct price research on contents, input and update contents loss damage report spreadsheet.
Other working conditions- Workplace: Position located in Aurora, Mississauga or Ottawa, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is full-time telework #LI-Remote- Number of jobs available : 2
Qualifications:
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
Specific knowledge- Very good knowledge and proficiency in internet usage and computer systems (including microsoft excel)- Good knowledge of retail trades (jewellery, tools, computers, electronics, etc.)
