Position Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical guidance and support for our team of technicians
  • Assess the technical skill levels of individual technicians and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs and initiatives to enhance the technical proficiency of our workforce.
  • Provide handson coaching and instruction to technicians on best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies in plumbing, hydronics, and HVAC
  • Collaborate with management to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements to ensure our team remains uptodate and compliant
  • Coordinate and facilitate technical training sessions, workshops, and certification programs for technicians
  • Act as a mentor and resource for technicians, offering guidance and support to help them achieve their professional development goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives, making recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Assess the needs of our buildings and clients and create strategies to make improvements where needed or desired

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the plumbing, heating, and air conditioning industry
  • Journeyman certification in plumbing, HVAC, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in technical training, coaching, or design
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems, equipment, and components
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to quality and excellence
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
